About the Authors

Ravi Bhushan, PhD, CChem FRSC, FNASc, is Professor of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Chemistry in Roorkee, India, where he received the Best Teacher Award. His research focus is liquid chromatography, resolution of racemic pharmaceuticals, and peanut proteins. Professor Bhushan is the author of more than 135 research papers and serves on the editorial board of Biomedical Chromatography. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India; the Royal Society of Chemistry, London; and the Indian Society for Biochemistry and Biotechnology.

Juergen Martens, PhD, since 1986 has been Professor of Organic Chemistry in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry at Oldenburg University in Oldenburg, Germany. Prof.Dr. Martens' areas of expertise includespreparative organic chemistry, stereochemistry, heterocyclic synhesis, thin-layer chromatography, and enantiomers. He is the author or coauthor of more than 200 publications.
